The room is great-sized with a comfortable decor. Glad to have central heating, multi-channel TV, and tea and coffee making facilities...

Such a really nice stay of great value in the evenings after a day full of experiences. Fairly clean hotel, fantastic location, decent staff. Relatively cheap and great breakfast with omelette and omelette or English, for instance, worth to decide on it:)))

Everything is fine, enjoyed my time here. The rooms are good sized and brand-new and have picturesque views of the snowy garden. The breakfast is not expensive and great and coffee, tea, toast and fruit are good. Terrific service, they provide a private parking and free Wi-Fi. It offers easy check-in.

during my stay, I loved that it was just a short stroll of less than 5 minutes to reach the picturesque Edinburgh International Conference Centre and the fine Scottish National Gallery, making it super easy to explore the city's vibrant culture and art scene.

It was adequate for purpose. There was nothing special about the hotel or the service provided.
They took card payment at the time of the booking, not when we arrived at the hotel.

The location was convenient for my needs, and the bar had a good selection of drinks. I enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast, though it was basic.
The room cleaning was not done properly, and I had issues with the dinner availability. It was frustrating not to find any dinner options when I arrived hungry.

Had an awesome group trip! We enjoyed our stay, exploring Murrayfield Stadium and a fantastic parkland golf course nearby. The location is perfect, clean rooms, and really friendly staff. Pro tip, ask for fresh milk for your tea-it was a nice touch!
Had a slight issue with the outdated bathroom facilities, which could definitely use some improvements. The water pressure was lacking at times, inconvenient.

Staff where friendly and our stay was great. Good clean room with flat screen tv, nice breakfast in the morning and all for £30 odd pound. What more can you ask for. Plus its on the main road so very easy to catch a bus or only a 15 min walk into the main city centre. Will book this hotel again if I go back to scotland

Apart from the comfy beds I liked nothing else about this hotel I was given a room for six although I had booked a room for three adults. I am diabetic and had forgotten my medication so my sister came from glasgow with it on saturday evening I informed staff that as there were six beds in the room she would also stay the night and they added her to breakfast total for room on the next morning at breakfast staff on duty on 3rd july confronted me in dining room in an aggressive manner over number of people staying in room I was most upset as was my sister who had both informed staff on duty of one more person staying on 2nd july I am a carer and a nurse and this as my carers break which was totally spoiled by the manner of staff most of whom had a poor command of english. The fact that they spoke to us in this mannner in a dining room full of guests compounded my upset having worked as a nurse for 27 years I would never speak to a member of the public in the intimidating manner I was dealt with by the staff on duty on 3rd july and would never stay in that hotel again
The staff manner as above and especially their poor command of english I suspect they may have been prejudiced against us as I had my 2 learning disabled sons with me one of whom is autistic and the other who had brain damage through a stroke at birth

The location is fantastic, just a 15-minute stroll to the main shopping area, and the full Scottish breakfast was a highlight, definitely a satisfying start to the day. The room was clean and comfortably furnished, though a few original features could use some maintenance. While the bar offered a nice patio space, there were times it felt crowded, especially during breakfast when many guests filled the dining area, which can be a bit overwhelming.
